Throughout my life I have never really been crazy about Asian cuisine. I didn't hate it, it just wasn't something that I would exactly crave. I think this is largely because half their food is sea food-based. One of the only things I'm picky about eating is fish itself. If it's too fishy for me, it doesn't go down my throat to easily.
But one thing that I did fall in love with was orange chicken. I don't know if that's authentic or anything but it's so freakin' delicious. I tried it first at this Asian buffet that my cousin took me to when I was 6 years old. I tried other things there, but I many sat over a platter of this stuff and ignored the rest.
So I was actually at Costco when I saw Crazy Cuizine Mandarin Orange Chicken in the frozen food section and decided then and there that I craved some. I bought a box and had it for dinner that day (which was yesterday).
It was pretty easy to cook and it smelled pretty damn good. I just decided to eat it plain next to a salad. I know it sounds weird that I don't eat it with rice or anything, but I've always loved it plain.
It actually tasted fresh, which is not something you would expect from frozen foods since they have been made god knows how long ago and shipped from god know where and made from god knows what!
They were better than Panda Express's orange chicken, partly because they were much crispier. They were also much cheaper.
The nutrition facts weren't too bad, considering this is a fried food and the ingredients weren't too foreign. Take a look for yourself.
Ingredients:

And the nutrition information.

Overall this stuff was pretty damn good. I would definitely purchase them again.
